Supply Chain & Logistics Optimization
A model behind every metric.
A SQL and Power BI reporting project connecting delivery, inventory, suppliers, warehouses, and fulfillment performance.
An operational picture, from the data up.
The problem
Delivery, supplier, inventory, and cost measures are difficult to interpret when they are disconnected. This project organizes simulated supply-chain data into a reporting model that supports comparison across operational dimensions.
The data model
The project documentation describes roughly 100,000 simulated orders across one year. A central order fact table connects products, customers, suppliers, warehouses, and delivery partners. SQL and Power Query prepare the data before it enters the model.
Reporting logic
DAX measures cover on-time delivery, damage and return rates, revenue, profit, and operational exposure. The work connects KPI definitions to the underlying dimensions so a change can be investigated by supplier, warehouse, product category, or reporting period.
Scope and evidence
This is a portfolio BI project using simulated data, not a production logistics system. The published repository emphasizes analytical architecture and KPI definitions; the broader project documentation describes dashboard and inventory-risk views. No public interactive dashboard is linked here.
